Poker legend Doyle Brunson and DoylesRoom founder has been named team captain in the imminent World Team Poker event in Las Vegas for the USA team. Mr. Doyle will be joined by an all-star cast of US pros and DoyleRoom Poker will have a delegate in the foremost ever World Team Poker event.

Other forty of the finest poker professionals from eight countries around the world will contend in a $50k buy in tournament to witness which country has the best pro team. Team USA will comprise of Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harman, Erik Seidel, Annie Duke, Allen Cunningham, Chris Ferguson and Mike Matusow as announced by Brunson and Phil Hellmuth (combined 21 WSOP bracelets).

World Team poker will be a 5-table shootout competition with Pot Limit Omaha, Limit Hold’Em and No Limit Hold’em rounds. The opening World Team Poker event will take place on May 19th at the Golden Nugget casino-hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
