Noted as the world biggest online poker company, Estonia granted the license for them to run their online services in the state.  PokerStars is the first ever company to be given a license for the regulated gambling in Estonia.

As reported recently, there are some foreign online poker sites that were blocked by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. As the manager of PokerStars’ Baltic countries division, Tomas Larsson, said, Applying for a license is always a complicated process and I am therefore very happy that PokerStars has successfully met all the necessary criteria to obtain an activity license in Estonia,”

Going over with the issue, Larsson also commented, “In addition to Estonia having excellent players and tournament organizers, Tallinn is also a new and truly attractive destination for many top players,”  as of now, PokerStars is invading Estonia through the local sports and cultural activities. PokerStars is the chief sponsor of  the Estonian National Volleyball team that victoriously reaches the final rounds in the tournament of the European Championship.
