Ultimate Who’s Who of Poker Popularity: Full Tilt’s Ivey

The turf for the 2010 World Series of Tournament of Champions is all set. Over 350,000 fan votes were tendered for the ultimate who’s who of poker popularity. Not astonishingly, Phil Ivey came on peak of the list, closely followed by Daniel Negreanu. Third place went to living legend Doyle Brunson. Anyone would be happy to enter this list, but UB.com pro and poker bad boy Phil Hellmuth is almost certainly not satisfied with being in fourth place – after all, he owns a record eleven bracelets, as many as Ivey and Negreanu altogether. Two Full Tilt Poker pros came in fifth and sixth place: Chris “Jesus” Ferguson received about a thousand more votes than the silent assassin Allen Cunningham.

The tournament begins in ten days from the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino with twenty-seven players: the top twenty vote-getters, two sponsor exemption seats and five pre-qualified champions.
